South Korea Beckons as Chhattisgarh CM Seeks Investment in Clean Energy and Railways

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, during his South Korean tour, sought investment and collaboration with ModernTech Corp and UNECORAIL. He invited ModernTech Corp, a leading green mobility solutions company, to invest in Chhattisgarh, proposing they establish an advanced EV charging manufacturing unit. This project is anticipated to enhance Chhattisgarh’s profile in clean energy and sustainable transportation. The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of strengthening the railway network. Discussions with UNECORAIL, a Korean railway maintenance solutions provider, focused on local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development. The Chief Minister underscored the government’s commitment to promoting clean energy and sustainable development. He mentioned that the Industrial Policy 2024-30 aligns with the goal of reducing carbon emissions. Sai expects these investments to generate jobs, develop green skills, and improve transport networks. He assured investors of the government’s support, simplifying procedures to encourage quick project implementation. Government officials stated that the projects would generate numerous employment opportunities and support local manufacturing, positioning Chhattisgarh as a key player in green energy.
