The investigation into the purported mass burial at Dharmasthala continues, with the SIT bringing ‘Maskman’ Chinnaiah to Bengaluru. The team is inspecting three locations Chinnaiah visited earlier in the year. A rented house in Mallasandra, belonging to T Jayanth, is a key focus of the investigation. Jayanth is linked to Mahesh Shetty Timmarodi from Dakshina Kannada. Chinnaiah stayed in this house in April, resulting in an SIT investigation. Jayanth’s family currently lives there. It was at this house that Chinnaiah brought the skull initially, which was later handed over to the SIT. Chinnaiah and Jayanth then travelled to Delhi, allegedly to take the matter to the Supreme Court.
