Authorities in Bhagalpur are investigating the death of Anant Kumar, son of a home guard, due to alleged poisoning. The family has pointed fingers at the in-laws, alleging foul play. The case involves a love marriage and a financial dispute. Anant had given his in-laws 6 lakh rupees and later requested its return. Before his death, he recorded a video implicating his wife, Kirti Mishra, her family, and a police staff member in his poisoning. In the video, he also mentioned that a false case was filed against him. In another video, he addressed Kirti, stating that he was dying and demanding the return of the 6 lakh rupees he had spent on her over five years. The victim’s father, Vivekananda Chaudhary, reported that his daughter-in-law, her mother, and other family members had poisoned his son. The father was informed by his daughter-in-law about his son’s condition before his death.
