The deal was valued at approximately 12.91 crore. The investigation has been initiated because the land was originally intended for agricultural use by farmers, but was purchased by Suhana Khan without obtaining the necessary permissions. The Alibaug Tehsildar is expected to provide an unbiased report on the matter. Resident Deputy Collector Sandesh has issued orders related to the ongoing investigation. A report on the deal’s details is expected soon. The documents associated with the land purchase identify Suhana Khan as a farmer. The property is registered under the name Deja Vu Farm Pvt Ltd, with Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law serving as directors of the company. This was Suhana Khan’s first property acquisition in Alibaug. She subsequently made another investment, buying a beachfront property in Alibaug worth 10 crore within a year.
