Maruti Suzuki has announced the arrival of the Victoris, a new midsize SUV designed to compete in a highly competitive segment. The Victoris is intended to be the flagship model within the Arena range, aiming to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. The Victoris will be available in six different variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O). The design of the Victoris draws inspiration from the E-Vitara. Key design features include slim LED headlights with sharp LED DRLs connected by a chrome strip, and prominent bumpers on the front and rear. The vehicle also incorporates 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The interior of the Victoris features a 10.25-inch central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with an 8-speaker Infinity by Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos. Additional features include ventilated seats, an 8-way electronically adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster featuring a heads-up display.

The Victoris will be the first Maruti model to include Level 2 ADAS technology. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera, and TPMS. The vehicle has also received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The powertrain options for the Victoris will encompass a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid engine, and a CNG version equipped with underbody tanks. The available transmissions are a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, with the strong-hybrid version featuring an eCVT. An all-wheel-drive system will be an option on specific variants.
