A recently surfaced video from China offers a glimpse of what’s claimed to be an iPhone 17 Pro Max unit. The video showcases a device with a redesigned rear, featuring a wide camera island. The displayed color suggests the sky blue variant that could launch on September 9th. Additionally, Apple has updated its Vintage list. A product is considered Vintage when it has been out of the sales market for over 5 years but less than 7 years. Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers generally do not repair these “obsolete” products. Some MacBook models may remain eligible for battery replacements for up to 10 years after distribution and sales have ended, depending on parts availability. Specifically, the MacBook Pro 13-inch and 15-inch models have been added to the Vintage list, alongside the iPhone 8 Plus (64GB and 256GB models). Reports suggest that following the iPhone 17 launch, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may be discontinued.
