Details regarding the iPhone 17 series are being revealed through leaks from the Taiwanese market. The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro are rumored to boast 120Hz displays, improving the display quality compared to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 17 Air is speculated to incorporate a “Silicon Anode battery” which promises higher energy density than batteries used in existing iPhone models and might include a battery case for longer battery life. There are indications that the iPhone 17 Air will exclusively use eSIM technology, eliminating the physical SIM card slot. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max might have enhanced optical zoom, with a possible increase up to 8x zoom. Apple may also adjust its release cycle, planning to launch lower-end iPhone models in the first half of the year, starting with the iPhone 18 series in 2026.
