Tesla has delivered its first Model Y in India, with the inaugural vehicle being received in Mumbai. This follows the launch of Tesla’s first showroom in the country on July 15. The white Tesla Model Y was delivered to Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik at the ‘Tesla Experience Centre’ in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Minister Sarnaik expressed his satisfaction with the purchase, stating he acquired the car at full price. He intends to utilize the vehicle for his grandson’s school trips, aiming to increase visibility and awareness of electric vehicles.
