Customers can expect lower prices for Tata cars starting September 22. The price cuts, up to ₹1.50 lakh, follow the government’s decision to reduce GST on passenger vehicles. The price adjustments are a result of the GST Council’s recent tax cuts, designed to boost the auto sector and provide relief to first-time car buyers. The Tata Nexon will see the most significant price reduction, with prices dropping by ₹1.55 lakh. The company aims to pass the full benefit of the GST reduction to customers, with price decreases ranging from ₹75,000 to ₹1.45 lakh depending on the vehicle model. The GST Council decided on September 3, 2025 to reduce taxes on cars.
