Authorities in Ranchi, Jharkhand, are investigating a case of jewelry theft where a woman was deceived by two con artists. The incident took place in the Sadar police station area. Savita Devi, a resident of Kokar, was targeted under the guise of having her jewelry cleaned. The swindlers stole her gold earrings, a ring, and a gold chain. A formal complaint has been filed at the Sadar police station.
Following the report, police launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage captured near the crime scene to aid in their efforts. The incident occurred at Savita Devi’s residence in Bandhagadi. Two individuals approached her, claiming they were from a company offering a product designed to clean and restore jewelry and other items made from valuable metals.
