Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Air, a device designed to be exceptionally thin and lightweight. But the newest ‘Air’ model might not be a perfect fit for all buyers. While this design mirrors the debut of the MacBook Air in 2008, it could also involve compromises. The new iPhone Air might have shorter battery life and only a single rear camera. The price point, too, could prove tricky, with the Air positioned between the standard iPhone 17 and the higher-priced iPhone 17 Pro. While a thin design may have been a primary selling point in the past, users today look for extended battery life, high performance, and advanced camera features. Despite these possible limitations, the iPhone Air could still see more success than the Mini and Plus models of the past.
