The Kharsia police station is investigating the appalling murder of a family of four in the Thusekela village of Raigarh. The victims’ bodies were found buried at their home, which has spurred a comprehensive inquiry. The investigation has identified and apprehended Lokeshwar Patel, a neighbor, as the main person of interest in the case. Patel has a record of violent behavior, including a prior murder conviction that led to imprisonment in Uttar Pradesh. Law enforcement officials have stated that the murders of Budhram Sidar, his wife, their daughter and their son, appear to be the result of a long-standing conflict over land and personal differences. The deceased had reportedly filed a complaint against Patel’s son, and Patel was accused of illegal land acquisition and theft from the family. Police are conducting a detailed investigation to gather all relevant information to expose the true nature of this terrible crime.
