Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched a hotline maintenance vehicle in Shalimar Bagh, a project by the power department aimed at repairing electrical wires without power interruptions. The vehicle costs approximately 1.5 crore rupees. More such vehicles are planned for the future. The CM expressed her personal attachment to Shalimar Bagh, describing it as her ‘heart’s piece’ due to her involvement in its development over the past three years. The responsibility for future projects will be delegated to the MP. The CM announced that a new Chhath Ghat will be built on the Munak Canal, at a cost of roughly 40 crore rupees. The canal, which passes through Delhi, will be prepared for Chhath Puja. Additionally, Gupta highlighted the installation of 94 lakh rupees worth of streetlights and road widening projects in Shalimar Bagh. Other projects include road repairs near Guru Gobind Singh College and a new senior secondary school and community hall in Haiderpur. Power Minister Ashish Sood highlighted the significance of the new technology in improving governance, enabling maintenance without power cuts.
