Shahid Kapoor is embarking on a new project, ‘Cocktail 2,’ amidst his other commitments. The actor is also occupied with Vishal Bhardwaj’s film, currently titled ‘Romeo,’ which is slated for a December release, potentially clashing with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandar.’ Kapoor’s Instagram post confirmed ‘Cocktail 2’ with a fresh cast, including Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. Mandanna gained fame with her role in ‘Pushpa 2,’ which earned over 1800 crore. The film promises a combination of romance, comedy, and drama. The shooting of the film is expected to be completed by January 2026, with shoots planned in India and Europe. Apart from ‘Cocktail 2,’ Kapoor is also involved in ‘Arjun Ustran.’ Kriti Sanon has ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ lined up, and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in ‘Thama.’ The original ‘Cocktail’ earned 121 crore globally, against a budget of 45 crore.
