The upcoming Bihar assembly elections have brought to the forefront some internal issues within the Grand Alliance, primarily due to differences in opinion regarding the Chief Ministerial candidate. While Tejashwi Yadav is presenting himself as the next CM, MP Pappu Yadav has clarified that the CM will be decided after the elections. He has made it clear that the Congress party will not compromise on seat distribution. This stance taken by Pappu Yadav indicates that some internal friction may arise within the alliance, especially regarding seat allocation. He stated that the Congress will not make any compromises on the quality of seats. He further highlighted that ticket allocation should be contingent on the success of the Grand Alliance’s MPs in Seemanchal.
