Security forces in Jharkhand conducted a successful operation against Naxal elements, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including high-ranking members of the outlawed group. The encounter took place in the Hazaribag district. The individuals killed included Sahdev Soren, a member of the CPI (Maoist) Central Committee, carrying a reward of 1 crore rupees. The other two included Raghunath Hembram, who had a 25 lakh rupee reward, and Birsen Ganjhu, who carried a reward of 10 lakh rupees. Authorities recovered three AK-47 assault rifles from the site.
