The Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat Express has been officially launched with an inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The inaugural journey saw the train originate from Jogbani and travel via Farbisganj, Purnia, Samastipur, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Patna, concluding in Danapur late at night.
Regular operations will commence on September 17th. The railway has announced the fare structure for the Danapur-Jogbani Vande Bharat Express, and bookings are now open. The fare for traveling from Danapur to Jogbani is ₹1320 for Chair Car (CC) and ₹2375 for Executive Class (EC).

Fare details for travel from Danapur are as follows: ₹490 (CC) and ₹925 (EC) to Muzaffarpur; ₹555 (CC) and ₹1060 (EC) to Samastipur; ₹925 (CC) and ₹1600 (EC) to Khagaria; and ₹1185 (CC) and ₹2120 (EC) to Purnia. The Vande Bharat Express, train number 26302, will depart from Danapur at 5:10 PM starting September 17.

The train will travel through Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Hasanpur Road, Salouna, Khagaria, Saharsa, Dauram Madhepura, Banmankhi, Purnia, Araria Court, and Farbisganj and arrive in Jogbani at 1:20 AM. The return journey, train number 26301, will depart from Jogbani at 3:25 AM, following a route through Farbisganj, Araria Court, Purnia, Banmankhi, Dauram Madhepura, Saharsa, Khagaria, Salouna, Hasanpur Road, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Hajipur, arriving in Danapur at 11:30 AM.
This new high-speed train is set to boost connectivity between Seemanchal and Patna. It represents a significant improvement in transportation for the Seemanchal and Kosi regions, offering a quicker and more comfortable journey for passengers.
