A controversy has erupted at the Asia Cup 2025 due to the absence of handshakes between India and Pakistan players. The PCB has reacted strongly, demanding action after the Indian team, including Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube, went straight to the changing room without shaking hands, leaving the Pakistan team and captain Salman Ali Agha waiting. Even the pre-match coin toss saw no handshake between the captains. The PCB has demanded that Andy Pycroft be removed and has filed a complaint with the ICC, threatening to withdraw from the Asia Cup 2025.
