The rivalry between India and Pakistan in cricket has moved into the realms of television and social media. After the post-match handshake controversy, tensions have remained high. This rivalry has moved beyond the sport, and former cricketers are now adding fuel to the fire. During a panel discussion on SAMAA TV, Mohammad Yousuf made highly inappropriate comments about India captain Suryakumar Yadav. His offensive language, broadcast live, drew immediate criticism. Yousuf further claimed that the Indian team benefited from biased umpiring. While India benefited from a couple of LBW decisions, Pakistan also had some decisions overturned by DRS. Pakistan, however, struggled to score runs, finishing with 127/9 in 20 overs. Shaheen Afridi’s aggressive batting in the late innings added some respect to the score. India’s response was decisive, and the team comfortably won the match within 16 overs.
