‘Maa Vande’: Biopic on Narendra Modi Announced with Unni Mukundan in the Lead

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the film ‘Maa Vande,’ a biopic about his life, has been announced. Unni Mukundan, celebrated for his role in the hit film ‘Marco,’ will play the lead. The actor shared his excitement and admiration for PM Modi on Instagram while announcing the project. Mukundan reminisced about his childhood in Ahmedabad, where he first encountered the Prime Minister as Chief Minister. A meeting in April 2023 further solidified his respect. The film is set for a global release, with versions in major Indian languages. Kranthi Kumar CH will direct the film, while KK Senthil Kumar ISC, known for his work in ‘Baahubali,’ will handle the cinematography. The music will be composed by Ravi Basrur, with Sreekar Prasad taking on the editing. Sabu Cyril will be in charge of production design, and King Solomon will manage the action choreography.
