Despite Iyer’s disappointing performance, four Indian batsmen displayed excellent form, each scoring a half-century and boosting India A’s score close to 400 runs. Narayan Jagadeesan, batting behind the wickets, scored 64 runs, with Sai Sudarshan adding 73. Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel also made significant contributions, with Jurel approaching a century. Earlier, Australia A had put up a massive score of 532/6 declared in their first innings, with two of their batsmen making centuries.
