A man in Patna, Bihar, is coping with the pain of two failed marriages after both his wives ran away with other men. The wives, shortly after marrying him, became romantically involved with other men and left with them. The second wife even stole gold jewelry before she left.
The incident happened in the Dhanuki Chalsa village in the Parsa Bazar police station area of Patna. Raju Kumar, 40, married twice, but both relationships failed. On September 16, Raju’s second wife ran away with her lover, two months after the wedding. Raju’s sister saw her on a motorcycle with the man, but they were already gone by the time she could alert others.
Raju married his second wife on July 11, two months before the elopement. The wedding followed the end of his first marriage. The second wife was much younger. The family believed things would improve, but they did not foresee her leaving with her lover so quickly.
On September 16, everyone was asleep when Raju’s second wife left. Raju’s sister witnessed her leaving. After discovering the gold earrings and other jewelry were missing, Raju reported the theft to the police. His first marriage had taken place years before, and problems had begun not long after.
One day, Raju’s first wife left the house with another man, leaving their daughter behind. On September 16, history repeated itself as his second wife also ran off with a man. The police have filed a case against the second wife and are investigating.
