Durg police, in Chhattisgarh, have made a significant breakthrough by seizing ₹66 million in cash during a vehicle check near the Kumhari Toll Plaza. The operation was conducted jointly with the ACCU. Four individuals were arrested after the cash was found in two Scorpio vehicles. The suspects disclosed that they were transporting the money, suspected to be hawala funds, from Raipur to Surat. The Income Tax Department has been informed and is now involved in the ongoing investigation.
