The arrival of GST 2.0 on September 22nd, coinciding with the festive season of Navaratri, presents a golden opportunity for SUV enthusiasts. With the implementation of GST 2.0, several popular SUVs, like the Honda Elevate, MG Hector, and Kia Seltos, are becoming more budget-friendly. This article explores the savings available on these and other SUV models.
Honda Elevate:
Honda Cars India is offering discounts across its entire range during the festive season. The Elevate SUV is a major beneficiary, with the ZX trim receiving discounts up to ₹1.22 lakh. The VX trim is eligible for a festive discount of ₹78,000, and the V trim offers benefits up to ₹58,000. The base SV trim is not included in these offers. The implementation of GST 2.0 has resulted in a price reduction of up to ₹57,500 for the Honda Elevate.
MG Hector:
MG Motor India is providing offers on selected variants of the Hector and Astor SUVs. The MG Hector Sharp Pro MT, a high-specification variant, is now available with benefits of up to ₹1.88 lakh. This includes a GST benefit of up to ₹1.49 lakh, bringing the ex-showroom price down from ₹21.13 lakh to ₹18.99 lakh.
Kia Seltos:
Kia is offering discounts on select models, and the Seltos is seeing the largest savings on its ex-showroom price, up to ₹1.75 lakh. This limited offer includes pre-GST benefits up to ₹58,000 and festive season benefits up to ₹1.17 lakh. The ex-showroom price of the Seltos has been reduced from ₹11.18 lakh to ₹9.43 lakh.
Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo:
Mahindra has announced GST benefits across its SUV lineup, complemented by festive season discounts. The Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo are offering the biggest discounts, up to ₹2.56 lakh. These discounts consist of a GST saving of ₹1.27 lakh on the ex-showroom price and other benefits up to ₹1.29 lakh. The Bolero range now starts at ₹8.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
