During the Nuakhai Milan ceremony in Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai declared a significant investment for the Dhurwa community. A sum of ₹75 lakh will be allocated for constructing domes across five different locations. The project includes an allocation of ₹15 lakh per dome. Sai also pledged to consider the proposals submitted by the 36 sarpanches from the Dhurwa community for village development. Sai emphasized the government’s dedication to the overall development of tribal communities. He discussed the ‘Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ensuring adequate funding for tribal-dominated villages. He also mentioned the Prime Minister Janman Yojana aimed at uplifting PVTGs, ensuring they are included in mainstream development. The CM remembered former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s contribution for forming a separate tribal affairs ministry.
