Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav commented on the possibility of Lord Krishna smiling, linking it to the Ayodhya situation, during a program in Vrindavan. His statement has created a buzz in relation to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute in Mathura. The Chief Minister was present at the closing ceremony of a Bhagwat Katha at Keshav Dham. In addition to his remarks, he also declared that the state government would provide 11 lakh rupees to the Sainik Kalyan Board, to assist the families of martyrs of Operation Sindoor. The Allahabad High Court is currently hearing the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid case, where the Hindu side is seeking the land of the mosque, and the Muslim side is arguing for its validity.
