Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the “Agarsen Jayanti Mahotsav 2025” समारोह organized by the Agarwal Mahasabha on the occasion of Bhagwan Agarsen Jayanti at Agrasen Dham, Raipur. He inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp and garlanding the statue of Bhagwan Agarsen. On this occasion, dignitaries and talented children who made outstanding contributions to the society were honored from the main stage.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, while appreciating the tradition of philanthropy of the Agarwal Samaj, said that the Agarwal Samaj has always been at the forefront of service to humanity and charity. The society is associated with trade and business, which, while working with hard work and dedication, is constantly engaged in the service of humanity. The Agarwal Samaj is known for its business acumen, but today this society is equally at the forefront in social work and is fulfilling its responsibilities through its service activities.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government has fulfilled most of the promises under Prime Minister Modi’s guarantee in 21 months. Our government has worked towards promoting trade and culture. We have adopted a new industrial policy, which is based on the fundamental mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas.

He said that today is a very historic day. From today itself, ‘GST Savings Festival’ has started across the country on the call of the Prime Minister. In this way, many festivals are taking place together today. Our successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji had appealed to the countrymen to celebrate the GST Savings Festival with great pomp in his address to the nation yesterday. These reforms made in GST have been done keeping in mind the demands and suggestions of the trader brothers. This will not only benefit the businessmen, but also the consumers.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that now the complexity related to taxes will be reduced by having only two slabs instead of four slabs of GST. This will not only make it easier for the traders to do their business smoothly, but also make it easier for them to pay taxes due to the process being easy. This will increase the participation of every class in nation building. He said that the Agarwal Samaj will play an important role in achieving the goal of a developed Chhattisgarh along with a developed India in 2047 as per the dreams of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated and wished everyone on Shardiya Navratri and Agarsen Jayanti and wished the people of the state happiness, prosperity and well-being.

On this occasion, MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, while addressing the program, said that Maharaj Agarsen was born about 5000 years ago. He adopted the Vaishya religion and ended the practice of sacrifice and made an important contribution to social reform. Today the society needs to do more work in the field of education and health. Only education and health will build a developed society and only a developed society will pave the way for a developed nation. He also congratulated and wished all the relatives on Shardiya Navratri and Agarsen Jayanti.

On this occasion, CIDC President Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Society President Shri Vijay Agarwal and senior dignitaries of the society were present in large numbers.
