Chief Minister suddenly reached the mart, met the customers, customers said GST reforms, savings revolution

When the Chief Minister himself became a customer: Shopping for household items and taking advantage of the GST rate cut

The Chief Minister reached “Ke Mart” to get acquainted with the public sentiment regarding the GST savings festival

Monthly budget decreased, bought more goods at lower prices, GST cut is not this “savings revolution”, only Modi ji can take such a bold decision – people gave such a reaction to the Chief Minister

The markets have become more vibrant due to the historic reforms in GST rates

Daily goods have become cheaper due to the reduction in GST rates

New prices are being informed in the price tag after the reduction in GST rates

Raipur // People who were buying daily necessities at Shubham “Ke Mart” located in Sarona, Raipur, the capital, were pleasantly surprised when they saw that the Chief Minister of the state himself had come to see whether they were getting the benefit of GST savings or not.

In fact, today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reached “Shubham Ke Mart” to get acquainted with the public sentiment regarding the GST savings festival. He himself became a customer and shopped for household items worth Rs 1,645 and also made the payment through UPI. During this time, he interacted with the people who were shopping and took information about the difference in the price of household items due to the reduction in GST rates.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai bought the necessary items by reaching the mart and took advantage of the reduction in GST rates. During this time, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inquired about the well-being of the people with affection. He inquired about the impact on the household budget from the housewives who were shopping, and inquired about their daily routine from the youth and senior citizens. In between, he had a cordial conversation with other customers while buying daily necessities. Seeing this affectionate behavior of the Chief Minister, the people present were overjoyed and said that the head of the state is among us today like a common man. During this time, he listened to the people’s views on GST reforms while discussing with the buyers. People told that they got great relief from the reduction in the prices of medicines and ration. The Chief Minister smiled and said, “This is the real purpose that the echo of the reforms reaches the common people.” After this, he also bought goods himself and seeing the new prices, he said, “This reform is not only on paper, but a change that is visible in the life of every family.”

Chief Minister Shri Sai also urged everyone to support the Swadeshi campaign, to which people said, you go ahead, we are with you.

It is not a GST cut, it is a “savings revolution”

While discussing with the Chief Minister, retired Air Force officer Shri T. P. Singh said that in the coming time, when the history of this era will be written, the GST reforms under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be recorded as a historic budget revolution. He said, “Earlier, we used to take 30 days’ ration in the same money, now we are able to get more than 40 days’ ration with the same money. Only our Prime Minister could have taken such a bold decision, no one else could have done this.”

Tax was 12 percent on stationery, now it has become zero

Shri Laddaram Nainwani, a resident of Avanti Vihar, Raipur, said that the positive impact of GST reforms is also linked to education. Showing the notebook to the Chief Minister at Shubham “Ke Mart”, he said, “Earlier, 12 percent tax was levied on it, but now Prime Minister Modi ji has made it zero. With this historic step, copies and essential stationery have become cheaper. Only our Prime Minister can take such a decision.”
He further said, “Earlier, I used to take stationery for about Rs 2,000 annually for the children and now I am saving about Rs 240 in this.”

Came to buy four essential items, bought 4 times more goods with GST exemption

Shri Murlidhar, who reached the mart for shopping, said in a conversation with the Chief Minister, “I had come to buy only 4 essential items today, but seeing the reduction in GST rates, I bought 4 times more goods. Due to the comprehensive reforms in GST, daily goods have become cheaper and we are getting direct benefit.”

Devangan couple told 10 percent reduction in monthly budget

Shri Jitendra and Smt. Padma Dewangan, a couple residing in Changorabhata, who reached Shubham “Ke Mart” for shopping, said, “There has been a 10 percent reduction in our monthly budget.” Housewife Smt. Padma, looking at the new price tag, said, “Earlier, I used to buy the same detergent and spices at a higher price. Now, I am really happy to see the lower prices after the reduction in rates. There is a lot of savings in festive shopping.”

Got a chance to shop more than the budget

Smt. Savita Maurya and Anita Sarakar had come to buy श्रृंगार material for Kanya Bhoj to be organized in Navratri. They said, “The prices of श्रृंगार materials have come down earlier. The reduction in GST rates has given us the opportunity to shop more than the specified budget. For the first time, it seems that the festive sale is not just an advertisement, but a relief in reality.”

It is noteworthy that after the historic reforms in GST rates, the markets have become vibrant and people are constantly shopping. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, people have received a big gift of reduction in GST rates in the festive season and this has made the items of daily use cheaper.
