Mahindra is preparing to introduce new models during the upcoming festive season. The brand is set to launch an all-new Bolero, Bolero Neo, and a new iteration of the Thar Three-Door. The existing Bolero model is planned to receive a significant update, aiming to incorporate new features to stay competitive. Test vehicles have been observed, hinting at design alterations, with a resemblance to the iconic G-Wagon’s boxy design. The new Bolero is expected to have cosmetic changes while maintaining its current mechanical setup. Expected updates include vertical grille slats with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo, and possible changes to the rectangular headlamps. The new Mahindra Bolero Facelift will also see interior updates, with a new touchscreen infotainment system, updated upholstery, and design changes influenced by the Thar Roxx. It’s probable that the current 1.5-liter mHawk diesel engine, which delivers 75hp and 210 Nm of torque, will be used, along with the current 5-speed manual gearbox. Based on a ladder frame chassis, the car may be subject to a reduced 18% GST. While reports suggest a launch next month, the official release date is yet to be announced by Mahindra.
