A five-year-old boy has died in Maharashtra’s Gondia district following an attack by a leopard. The event happened in Sanjaynagar village, Arjuni Morgaon tehsil. The child, Ansh Prakash Mandal, was with his grandmother when the leopard attacked on September 25. He was taken to a hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. The local villagers, angered by the event, organized a protest and blocked the road. Forest officials later arrived to address the community’s concerns.
