The match is now at a critical juncture, with Hampshire needing 33 runs for victory and Surrey needing just one wicket. Chahar has previously played in the IPL and was an integral part of the Mumbai Indians team that won the IPL in 2019 and 2020. Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar, also played in this match and was dismissed by Chahar in both innings. Chahar made his international debut for India in 2019.
