Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Odisha on September 27, 2025, includes a public event at the Amlipali ground in Jharsuguda, scheduled to commence at 11:30 AM. A significant aspect of this visit is the unveiling of projects with a total value exceeding Rs 60,000 crore. This encompasses laying the groundwork for three new railway projects, valued at Rs 1700 crore. The Amrit Bharat Express, connecting Surat, Gujarat, to Brahmapur, Odisha, will be flagged off. A substantial investment will also be made in commissioning over 97,500 mobile 4G towers, amounting to Rs 37,000 crore.
