Toyota India has presented a teaser for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition on its social media. The teaser reveals a preview of the compact SUV featuring an all-black design, with the launch anticipated in November, coinciding with the Toyota Drum Tao music festival. The Hyryder Aero Edition will have an all-black exterior, which will extend to the interior. The Aero Edition will introduce a new black paint scheme, a faux carbon fiber finish on the grille, and additional upgrades. Specifics regarding further stylistic changes are not yet available, though the ‘Aero Edition’ badge is likely on the tailgate. The cabin is anticipated to retain its original design, with a possible inclusion of new black upholstery to match the theme. Earlier in the year, the Hyryder received updates, including features such as an eight-way electrically adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, an AQI display, a new digital console, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Type-C USB charging ports, ambient lighting, rear door sunshades, and LED reading and spot lamps. The 2025 Hyryder will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission, available in an all-wheel drive (AWD) configuration, while the AWD manual version has been discontinued. All Hyryder models come with six airbags as standard, and all automatic variants include an electronic parking brake. The new Hyryder Aero Edition is slated to offer the three powertrain options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter strong hybrid engine, and a 1.5-liter CNG option. Depending on the engine choice, transmission options will be either manual or automatic.
