Adarsh Suvidha Kendra is an important step in this direction, which will make urban administration more effective.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the good governance government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is working by making a well-planned action plan to provide better facilities to the citizens of urban bodies. The Urban Administration Department had sent a proposal through the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) under the Municipal Shared Services Centre to establish a Citizen Experience Center in the state by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The Government of India, while accepting and recommending this proposal of Chhattisgarh, has sanctioned Rs 50 crore for it. Shri Sao, while thanking Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal for approving the proposal, congratulated the citizens of the state.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao said that through Adarsh Suvidha Kendras (Citizen Experience Centers), citizens will get the benefit of essential certificates like birth, death, marriage, license services for business, vending, advertisement, property tax, water/sewerage, solid waste services, municipal corporation property booking. Registration, grievance redressal facility and digital inclusion services will be available in a convenient and timely manner on the lines of “One State – One Portal” single platform.
