Toyota India has released a teaser for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition, showcasing its all-black design on social media. The compact SUV is scheduled to launch in November, coinciding with the Toyota Drum Tao music festival. The Hyryder Aero Edition will feature an all-black exterior and interior design. The Hyryder Aero Edition will sport a new black paint scheme, a faux carbon fiber finish on the grille, and other enhancements. The exact styling changes are yet to be announced. The tailgate is expected to feature an ‘Aero Edition’ badge, while the interior is likely to retain the original design with new black upholstery. The Hyryder was updated by Toyota earlier this year, including new features. The top variant now includes an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, an AQI display, a new digital console, TPMS, Type-C USB charging ports, ambient lighting, rear door sunshades, and LED reading and spot lamps. The 2025 Hyryder comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission paired with an all-wheel drive (AWD) version, while the AWD manual version has been discontinued. All variants of the SUV now have six airbags as standard, and all automatic versions come standard with an electronic parking brake. The new Hyryder Aero Edition is expected to offer all three powertrain options: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter strong hybrid engine, and a 1.5-liter CNG option. Transmission options, depending on the engine, include manual and automatic. Due to new GST revisions, the Hyryder’s price has been significantly reduced. The starting price for the SUV is now ₹10.95 lakh, with prices going up to ₹19.76 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
