Mahindra has introduced a special edition to its electric vehicle lineup for the festive season: the BE 6 Batman Edition. Deliveries are now officially underway. Initially, deliveries were scheduled to commence on September 20th, coinciding with International Batman Day, but were later moved to September 25th.
This model is a special, limited version of the BE 6. The initial sales were limited to just 300 units. However, due to strong customer demand, the company increased the production run to 999 units, making this collector’s edition available to more customers. The ex-showroom price is ₹27.79 lakh, approximately ₹89,000 more expensive than the top-spec Pack Three variant.
The BE 6 Batman Edition showcases a striking design. The entire body of the car features a custom satin black finish, offering a premium and robust appearance. Contrasting the black, the Alchemy Gold-colored suspension and brake calipers create a sporty look.
Unique features include 20-inch alloy wheels, custom Batman decals on the front doors, and the BE 6 × The Dark Knight badging at the rear, setting it apart from other vehicles. This edition is more than just a car; it’s a collector’s pride.
The interior is as special as the exterior. It features a charcoal leather instrument panel, Suede leather upholstery with gold sepia stitching, and gold accents. The steering wheel, in-touch controller, and electronic parking brake system also have gold detailing.
The Bat-Sign is prominently featured on the seats, boost button, and interior details. The dashboard has a pinstripe graphic, and the infotainment screen displays a Batman welcome animation when the car is started. In addition, the exterior sound profile is also themed around Batman, creating a unique experience.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition comes with a 79 kWh battery pack. The manufacturer claims a range of 683 km on a full charge. In real-world conditions, even with the AC running, the car can easily cover a distance of over 500 km. This edition stands out not only because of its design and theme but also because of its performance capabilities.
