Tension arose in the district on Friday when the police prevented individuals holding ‘I Love Muhammad’ placards from gathering and used force to disperse the crowd after some individuals allegedly threw stones and shouted slogans. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajay Kumar Sahni stated that the plan was orchestrated by Raza and had been in motion for the past seven days. Videos made by Raza, calling people to the ground, were cited. He further stated that an online toolkit was being used to spread the violence.
