Initial benchmarks of the upcoming OnePlus 15 have been released, highlighting the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The multi-core scores exceeded those of other Android flagships and Apple’s A19 and A19 Pro chips. The single-core performance was slightly behind Apple’s chips. GPU performance was better than the Galaxy A19 and A19 Pro but less than the Dimensity 9500. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is built on a 3nm process and is expected to offer substantial performance improvements. The OnePlus 15 will come with a 165Hz display and Android 16-based ColorOS 16. It is expected to join the ranks of other flagship devices such as the Xiaomi 17 series, Honor Magic 8 series, and the Realme GT 8 Pro, all powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
