In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, a female doctor has been defrauded in an unusual manner. Two individuals, pretending to be sadhus, gained access to her clinic and used hypnosis to steal money from her. The doctor has reported the incident to the police. The incident occurred at the Sudha Suraj Fertility Care Clinic in Shankar Nagar. According to the doctor, the incident occurred on September 26th at around 3 PM. Two individuals, disguised as sadhus, entered the clinic through a window. After declining money from staff, they went directly to the doctor’s cabin. Ignoring the receptionist’s attempt to stop them, they engaged the doctor in a conversation about treatment. During the conversation, they gathered private information and subsequently hypnotized the doctor, gaining control over her. Exploiting the doctor’s hypnotized state, they convinced her to transfer Rs 9,000 via UPI, using an account belonging to a woman named Paramjeet Kaur. Before leaving, they gave the doctor an image of a deity, black beads, and a Rudraksha mala. The entire event was captured on CCTV. The following day, upon reviewing the transactions and CCTV footage, the doctor realized she had been scammed and immediately reported it to the police. The police have launched an investigation and are searching for the two suspects.
