The centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were held in New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the honored guest. The event took place at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, commencing at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. To mark this milestone, the Prime Minister unveiled a specially created commemorative coin and a postage stamp. In his monthly radio program, Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi had previously characterized the RSS’s 100-year history as “amazing, unprecedented, and inspiring.” He also drew attention to the significance of this year’s Vijayadashami, which falls on the centenary of the RSS, founded in Nagpur in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar.
