An incident of a brutal murder has occurred in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. Two sons are implicated in the murder of their mother’s boyfriend in Ahivara Ward 3. The deceased, Balwinder, known as Bunti, was in a live-in relationship with the sons’ mother. The police have taken the body for a post-mortem. The sons claim that Balwinder was their mother’s partner and that she had previously divorced her husband. The woman and Balwinder lived together, a situation the sons strongly resented, leading to frequent disagreements within the household. The incident happened late Tuesday night. The sons were also displeased with Balwinder’s regular visits to their home. Additionally, they had suspicions about Balwinder’s fidelity, which created further tensions. The altercation culminated on Tuesday night, with Trilochan and Bhupesh attacking Balwinder. Trilochan used a shovel and Bhupesh a stick, resulting in Balwinder’s death at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the Nandini police arrived, secured the body, and sent it to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police, after conducting an initial investigation, have detained the sons. During the interrogation, both confessed to committing the crime. The police officials have stated that the preliminary investigation reveals that the incident stemmed from domestic issues, including the mother’s separation, her live-in relationship, and character-related issues of Balwinder. A murder case has been registered, and the police are questioning the two accused.
