With the impending Bihar elections, the Election Commission is sending a team to the state today to evaluate the current election preparations, with the potential for an early announcement of election dates. Also today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch various initiatives focused on youth in Delhi, involving an investment of over Rs 62,000 crore. The Chief Election Commissioner, along with Election Commissioners, will conduct a two-day visit in Patna, starting today. The current term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly is set to expire on November 22nd. The Election Commission often conducts such state visits before election schedules are publicized.
