Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated as the chief guest at the Guru Darshan and Sant Samagam Mela held in Bhandarpuri Dham, Raipur district. He inaugurated development projects worth more than 162 crore rupees, focusing on road infrastructure. Sai announced additional developments, including a dome, streetlights, and the upgrading of a local school. He offered to support pilot training for five young people. The Chief Minister sought blessings and spoke about the importance of following the ideals of Baba Guru Ghasidas, stressing the values of humanity and equality, which he said are key to the progress of the Satnami community. He observed the advancements since the previous year and recognized the role of Guru Khushwant Saheb, now a minister focused on the welfare of Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Sai highlighted the state’s overall development, the implementation of Modi’s guarantees, and the government’s commitment to transparency and a corruption-free administration. He also noted the increase in the budget for the Scheduled Caste development authority. Religious leaders and other dignitaries expressed their views on the mela’s significance for social harmony and development.
