The Congress party in Uttar Pradesh is set to intensify its efforts on social justice. The party plans to hold social justice conferences across all divisions of the state to unite Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities. The Congress’s OBC department has been engaged in mobilizing OBC castes. The party is now accelerating this initiative under the direction of the top leadership. Manoj Yadav, the state president of the Congress OBC department, mentioned that preparations for the conferences have begun and discussions with national and state leadership to finalize the state executive list are complete. This executive includes representation from all castes of the backward classes. Yadav said that the executive will be announced as soon as approval is received from the top leadership, and the social justice conferences will commence from Lucknow.
