The Israeli Foreign Ministry has denied allegations of mistreating Greta Thunberg during her detention. The ministry described the accusations as ‘ludicrous and baseless,’ specifically those originating from the Hamas-Sumud flotilla. According to the ministry, all detainees were provided with their full legal rights. The ministry also pointed out that Thunberg and other detainees had requested to remain in custody longer than initially planned. Further, it was noted that Thunberg did not report any mistreatment claims to the Israeli authorities.
