If you’re planning to buy a new car during the festive season, exploring vehicles with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a wise move. These systems enhance both safety and the overall driving experience. Leading automotive manufacturers in India, including Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, and Honda, are now incorporating ADAS features into their models. Here’s a selection of ADAS-equipped cars to consider.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris: The Victoris, recently launched, stands out as the first Maruti Suzuki vehicle to incorporate ADAS technology. Level 2 ADAS is exclusively offered in the top-spec ZXi+ AT trims equipped with the 1.5-liter K15C mild-hybrid engine. The strong hybrid variant does not include this feature. The Victoris with Level 2 ADAS is available from Rs 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta: The Hyundai Creta, a popular choice in the Indian mid-size SUV segment, features Level 2 ADAS in its SX Tech and SX(O) variants. The SX Tech trim is available with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine (MT/IVT) and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine (MT only). The top-spec SX(O) offers diverse powertrain combinations, including diesel AT and a 1.5-liter tGDi DCT. The Hyundai Creta with ADAS starts at Rs 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV700: Mahindra was an early innovator in ADAS technology, introducing it with the XUV700 in 2021. Level 2 ADAS is integrated into the AX7 and AX7 L variants of this SUV, which are powered by a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel or a 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engine and are available with manual and automatic transmissions. The AX7 trims start from Rs 18.37 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier: Tata Motors has updated the Harrier lineup, and now the Adventure X+ and Fearless X+ trims include ADAS features. This SUV is powered by a 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel engine, producing 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque, mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The ADAS-equipped Tata Harrier is priced starting from Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV3XO: The XUV3XO offers a comprehensive array of features in the compact SUV category, with Level 2 ADAS available in the AX5 L and top-spec AX7 L variants. The AX5 L is equipped with a 1.2-liter tGDi petrol engine (MT and AT), while the AX7 L offers a 1.5-liter diesel manual powertrain option. The Mahindra XUV3XO with ADAS has a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
