Pakistan is set to benefit from a considerable investment from Saudi Arabia following a recent defense agreement. Saudi company, Go Ai Hub, is planning to establish technical training centers in Pakistan to educate and train individuals in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The initial phase of this project aims to train at least 50,000 Pakistanis and create 1,000 jobs. This initiative aligns with Pakistan’s goal of creating 3 million jobs within the AI sector.

Pakistan expressed its desire for investment from Saudi Arabia after the defense deal was finalized. Pakistan has been looking to secure investment deals with Riyadh in healthcare, communication, and other sectors. Although Saudi Arabia had previously signaled its intention to invest in the health sector, Go Ai Hub has already moved forward with its investment plans. Go Ai Hub, a Saudi-based company, has its headquarters in Riyadh and specializes in providing advanced AI solutions to government institutions and businesses across Saudi Arabia.

The defense deal between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which was signed in September 2025, includes a provision that an attack on either country would be considered an attack on both. This agreement followed an Israeli attack on Qatar. This deal provides Saudi Arabia with nuclear protection. Pakistan is the only Muslim country in the world with nuclear weapons. According to SIPRI, Pakistan has approximately 170 nuclear weapons. It is speculated that Pakistan offered Saudi Arabia nuclear protection in exchange for the investment.
