Personnel engaged in polling and security for the Ghartshila by-election will benefit from a comprehensive cashless medical facility. This was confirmed in a pivotal meeting chaired by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, bringing together managers of government and private hospitals. The district administration has declared the health security of all election duty staff as a primary objective. Hospitals are obligated to provide immediate cashless medical services in any emergency, irrespective of whether they are public or private institutions. The Civil Surgeon has been directed to ensure that hospitals are well-equipped with medical resources, medications, and medical teams. All healthcare facilities must remain in a state of high alert, offering emergency services 24/7 throughout the electoral process. Strong coordination with the district control room and the health department is mandatory. The district administration will process payments for cashless medical bills after their submission, following departmental procedures. Any identified negligence or lack of cooperation will lead to punitive measures.
