    Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren reviewed the presentation of the proposed Tiger Safari Project in Latehar district today at his official residence on Kanke Road, Ranchi. On this occasion, officials presented detailed information related to the Tiger Safari Project before Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren. The Chief Minister was informed by the officials that this project will be the first Tiger Safari Project of Jharkhand. It is proposed to be constructed in the Putuwagarh area of Latehar district, which is outside the Palamu Tiger Reserve. For this purpose, land has been identified by the department. The Tiger Safari Project is planned to be built in an area near the Betla National Park. The construction of the Tiger Safari Project will provide a better livelihood to the local villagers of Daltonganj, Barwadih, and Mandal Dam areas. Officials informed the Chief Minister that the construction of this project will be an important link in the development of the eco-tourism circuit of the Palamu Tiger Reserve (PTR) area, which extends from Netarhat-Betla-Kechki to Mandal Dam.

    Officials informed Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren that the Tiger Safari project will be established in compliance with all prescribed standards. The construction of the Tiger Safari has full potential for the overall development of this region. The expansion of this scheme will provide an attractive and new opportunity for tourists to see tigers and other wildlife up close in the tourism sector. This will be Jharkhand’s first Tiger Safari, aiming to promote tourism and create employment opportunities for local people. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren took detailed information on various points related to the Tiger Safari Project and also gave several important directives to the officials.
    On this occasion, Minister Shri Sudivya Kumar, MLA Smt. Kalpana Soren, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Wildlife Shri Paritosh Upadhyay, Field Director Palamu Tiger Reserve Shri S.R. Natesh, Deputy Director Palamu Tiger Reserve Shri Prajesh Jena, Consultant Shri Ashfak Ahmed, and others were present.
