With the Bihar Assembly elections in 2025 drawing closer, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has announced its initial slate of 25 candidates. The party’s Bihar wing has meticulously chosen nominees, including Mohammed Kaif (Siwan), Anas Salam (Gopalganj AC), Advocate Shams Aagaz (Kishanganj), Rashid Khalil Ansari (Madhubani), and Mohammad Manzoor Alam (Araria). AIMIM has voiced its aspiration to champion the cause of the marginalized communities in Bihar. The major political alliances include the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Mahagathbandhan, a coalition spearheaded by the RJD and Congress. The Jan Suraaj movement, guided by Prashant Kishor, is also set to participate in this significant electoral battle.
